Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 12, 2026
HUDSON — Zoning Board approved a special permit for retaining walls at 141 River Street. Five board members—Chair Jason Mauro, Vice Chair Matthew Russell, Member Darja Nevits, Associate Member Michael Laubach, and Associate Member David Campbell—voted to issue the permit under By-law section 5.1.6 after finding the walls are pre-existing features predating current zoning. In separate action, the board continued its hearing on a proposed single-family home at 0 Oneida Place until April 9, determining the lot—approximately 4,600 square feet in an R-40 district requiring roughly 45,600 square feet—to be unbuildable due to insufficient frontage, setback violations, and a general easement restriction.
