HUDSON — The Hudson Board of Health voted unanimously to retain attorney Matt Connolly of Nutter, McClennen & Fish to represent the board in contractual negotiations with B-P Trucking, Inc. Board Chair Matthew C. Gallen motioned and member Allyson O'Malley seconded the motion.
The Select Board had previously approved funding up to $5,000 in legal fees, with possible additional funds if needed. Connolly previously served the board during the site assignment process selection; board members cited his familiarity with the project, responsiveness, and the tight timeline to the hearing as reasons to retain him rather than hire new counsel. Public hearings on the site assignment were scheduled for March 10 and 12 at the high school.
