HUDSON — The Hudson Board of Health scheduled a March 10-12 public hearing on a transfer station expansion request that would nearly triple daily tonnage. B-P Trucking's application, filed December 15, sought to relocate the facility at 1 Municipal Drive and increase capacity from 350 to 850 tons daily, with the Hudson Department of Public Works listed as co-applicant. Legal counsel Matt Connolly explained the Board's regulatory standard: the Board must approve unless the modification poses a danger to public health, safety, or the environment.
Intervenor petitions were due January 27. The Board also received influenza updates and discussed community health priorities with consultants developing the town's master plan.
