Conservation Commission · Meeting of June 18, 2026
Hudson Conservation Commission approved a shoreline deck expansion and continued three related property hearings to July 2. Chair Debra Edelstein presided as the Commission voted 5-0-0, with Brandon Parker recused, on Paul Osborne's motion to issue a Negative Determination for a 20-by-12-foot deck at 4 Shoreline Drive; the expansion sits at the edge of a deed-restricted No Build Zone on helical piles with straw wattles as a condition. Three other shoreline developments at 2 Shoreline Drive, 2 Baben Road, and 193 Parmenter Road involving an in-ground pool and patio by Steven Poole and Danielle LaForce were continued pending plan revisions.
The Commission also voted unanimously to co-sponsor a Specialized Stretch Code Warrant Article for the Fall Town Meeting.
