Commission Approves Support Letter for Land Trust Trail Project

Hudson Commission on Disabilities voted unanimously to support a Hudson Land Trust trail project. The three members present — George Luoto, Aileen Journey, and Mark Terra-Salomão — approved a letter supporting the Land Trust's Community Preservation Committee application for design costs of an All Access trail and bridge at Lamson Park/Tripps Pond. The Commission also reviewed a $65,000 Planning Grant application to the Massachusetts Office on Disability for an ADA Self Evaluation and Transition Plan submitted by staff member Pam Helinek.

Members discussed potential revenues from handicap parking violations and pedestrian safety concerns on Main Street.
