HUDSON — Commission issued conditions for Glendale Road culvert project after unanimous vote. Chair Debra Edelstein and members Brooke Warrington, Brandon Parker, Paul Osborne, and Lauren Marshall approved the Order of Conditions on a 5-0 vote. DPW Engineer Sean Quinlivan presented flow analysis showing the new HDPE culvert allows greater flow than existing corrugated metal pipes; the project improves pedestrian access to the rail trail and protects the stream from adjacent gas station runoff.
Special conditions require native plantings and mixed-gradation substrate if embedding becomes necessary during construction.
