Historical Commission · Meeting of August 3, 2026

HUDSON — Historical Commission voted unanimously to request Select Board appointment of two vacancy applicants. Chair Jon Schmidt and members voted 5-0 to request appointment of Jenny Staysniak and Theresa Rondinone following interviews. Member Paul Shultz volunteered to recommend 20 properties for historical plaques once Community Preservation Committee funds arrive in November.

The commission received a Taylor Memorial Bridge survey report from SGH recommending additional investigative activities; staff contact Pam Helinek will share the report with Recreation Director Steven Santos and ask SGH to attend the commission's October 5 meeting, with funding for further tests possible at the Spring Town Meeting.
