Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 7, 2026

Hudson Conservation Commission denied a dock permit and approved beaver dam removals. The commission voted 6-0-0 to deny after-the-fact approval for a dock at 75 Hunter Ave despite owner Emily Groom's request and the structure predating her purchase. In separate action, the commission voted 6-0-0 to approve emergency certificates breaching beaver dams at 7 Cranberry Lane and 136 Causeway Street, where rising water levels threatened flooding of a home's leach field and basement and of a roadway, with Brandon Parker and Paul Osborne moving approval.

Three wetlands application hearings were continued to May 21 and June 4.
