HUDSON — The Silas Felton Historic District Commission approved a historical plaque installation at 51-57 Main Street and continued a hearing on a second application. Paul Osborne, chair, presided over unanimous approval of the Hudson History Plaque proposed by Richard Braga of the Business Improvement District. The commission voted unanimously to continue the sign installation and building trim painting application at 3 Felton Street to February due to applicant absence.
The commission addressed an accessibility challenge for Amaia Martini Bar's expansion project at 168-178 Main Street and agreed to contact the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board regarding facade constraints imposed by the building's zero lot line. Commissioners also discussed sign violations at four Main Street locations and agreed to send letters requesting removal.
