Historic District Commission · Meeting of July 15, 2026
Hudson's Historic District Commission approved three property applications on July 15. Chair Paul Osborne and Vice Chair James D. Quinn led unanimous votes on a Town Hall HVAC upgrade adding air conditioning to the second-floor auditorium, a community plant-sharing station at 63A Main Street, and church property work at 80 Main Street including tree trimming and driveway sealcoating.
Member Joseph Aponte successfully negotiated preservation of two maple trees at the church site. The commission also discussed ongoing enforcement challenges, noting that a self-lit "Open" sign at Domino's on 136 Main Street remains illuminated despite previous official letters, and committed to sending correspondence about a similar violation at the ReMax facility.
