Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of March 3, 2026
Hudson library trustees received a $10,000 gift from the Carnegie Corporation and discussed a potential book bike outreach program. The board reviewed ongoing personnel hiring, including a part-time librarian offered the Technical Services position and interviews for two full-time positions; a Youth Services Librarian candidate withdrew due to salary considerations. The library also received a request from the Historical Society to accept 139 bound newspaper volumes.
The library identified roof leaks in the staff stairwell and an HVAC steam pipe leak in the basement, and was working to reallocate ARPA funds to survey roof damage while pursuing a Community Preservation Committee grant for repairs.
