Hudson Park Commission approved amended facility rules for the Hudson Dog Park, opening by end of June 2026. The three commissioners voted unanimously, 3-0, to accept the rules after Robert D. Bowen's motion to remove a prohibition on toys.
The rule changes reflected feedback from Hudson Police, the Animal Control Officer, and residents planning a Friends of the Hudson Dog Park group. The commission also received updates on summer 2026 recreation programming, with more than 30 candidates interviewed for seasonal staff positions and new community events planned including a Chalk the Walk competition and Cardboard Boat Regatta.
