HUDSON — Park Commission advanced Lamson Park footbridge design with David Lamson dedication pending naming review. The Hudson commission voted 2-0, on a motion by Robert D. Bowen seconded by Michael Chaves, to approve the Lamson Park/Tripps Pond Footbridge project and advance its design process.

The Hudson Land Trust has already raised sufficient funds for design and permitting work and will continue fundraising for construction and future project phases. The commission deferred a formal dedication of the footbridge to David Lamson pending Recreation Director Mr. Santos' confirmation that such a dedication would not conflict with existing park naming rights or restrictions.
