HUDSON — Park Commission explores debt-exclusion route for Moulton's Park. Recreation Director Mr. Santos proposed reversing a June decision to scale back the project and instead pursue full scope with debt-exclusion funding at a future Town Meeting, citing the successful library debt-exclusion vote as precedent.
Commissioners Michael Chaves and Robert D. Bowen, Chair, expressed support. Santos noted the project stems from 2018 Community Workshops and the 2020 Recreation Master Plan.
Summer recreation costs rose modestly, with field trips at $25,792.60, up $700.32 from 2025; Centennial Beach generated $46,810 revenue, up $1,325; and the newly operating dog park is fine-tuning gate gaps with contractor assistance.
