Park Commission voted 2-0 to protect delineated wetland at Town Beach.

Park Commission · Meeting of May 21, 2026

HUDSON — Park Commission voted 2-0 to protect delineated wetland at Town Beach. The two commissioners present — Chair Robert D. Bowen and member Michael Chaves — approved an action plan at the May 21 remote meeting that includes removal of dumped materials by July 31, 2026; installation of property boundary markers and signage by December 31, 2026; and a certified mailing to residents requesting removal of personal items by June 30, 2026.

The plan will be implemented under existing beach facility rules and state conservation regulations, not through new access restrictions. The commission will monitor the area for violations.
