HUDSON — The Hudson Planning Board unanimously approved a site plan for industrial development at 75 Reed Road. Chairman Robert D'Amelio, Clerk Joseph Mitchell, and Members Darryl Filippi and David Daigneault voted 4-0. The approval includes conditions addressing traffic, parking, and noise: tenant parking on Reed Road or Technology Drive is prohibited; roadway signage, a rapid rectangular flashing beacon, and annual traffic signal analysis are mandated; an earthen berm and acoustic fencing must be installed; and supplemental noise reports are required.
Before voting, Filippi expressed concern that industrial use would not provide the benefits of housing development, though he voted to approve. The site plan approval is valid for five years.
