HUDSON — The Planning Board voted unanimously on three zoning matters and roadway acceptance at its September 15 meeting. The Board recommended that Town Meeting accept Shoreline Drive and Town Line Road as town ways in the Lakemont subdivision, pending accessibility improvements to be finished within 30 days. It recommended a one-year moratorium on data center facilities to allow development of a regulatory framework addressing resident concerns about water use, power capacity, and noise impacts.
It also recommended amending the zoning by-law to allow homeowners routine repairs to nonconforming structures without seeking Zoning Board of Appeals approval. All three recommendations passed 5-0-0.
