Select Board · Meeting of June 29, 2026
HUDSON — The Hudson Select Board unanimously approved a temporary 0% rate adjustment for water, sewer, and stormwater enterprise funds for FY2027. At a public hearing, Public Works Director Dan Nason presented the recommendation, and residents questioned billing practices, stormwater fee calculations, indirect costs, rate study frequency, state mandates, and retained earnings. The board voted to freeze rates while a comprehensive study is completed before long-term rates are established.
Vice Chair Lauren DuBreuil requested a second hearing on future rate decisions. Board members noted enterprise funds must be self-sustaining from revenue.
